The recipe, which contains a base of shea butter and cocoa ash, is a traditional specialty and handmade by a women's cooperative in Ghana. Loelle's black soap is also enriched with turmeric, neem oil, and aloe vera. The soap cleanses the skin deeply and has a mild exfoliating effect.
