THIS SHOE IS SKATE CULTURE. In 1976 the Vans Slip-On was developed as Model #44 in collaboration with skateboarders and BMXers in California and quickly proved to be a bestseller.Especially the wild youth in SoCal (Southern California) loved the simple canvas low tops with the famous no slip waffle sole. This rubber sole has enormous grip due to its special honeycomb structure and is therefore perfectly suited for skating. The sneaker itself hasn't really changed much since the 70s. New collections always surprise with new colour variations and materials, but the image always remains the same: rebellious!
